Overview

Veld, LLC (“Veld,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent technology company. This policy explains the information processed when you visit our corporate website or contact us about Veld or its consulting services.

Information you choose to provide

The corporate website does not currently provide an account, intake form, newsletter form, chat widget, or booking widget. If you contact us by email, we receive the information in your message, such as your name, email address, organization, correspondence, and any information you choose to include.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health information, applicant records, production credentials, or other sensitive or regulated information through a general inquiry email.

Information processed automatically

Our corporate pages are hosted using GitHub Pages and related delivery infrastructure. Like most website infrastructure, these providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, date and time, referring page, and diagnostic or security events. Their handling is governed by their own terms and policies.

Veld does not currently add site-controlled analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, behavioral profiling, or targeted-advertising trackers to the corporate pages. We do not use the corporate pages to place marketing cookies or store information in your browser.

How we use information

We may use information to operate and secure the website, respond to inquiries, evaluate whether a requested conversation or service is a fit, maintain business records, prevent misuse, comply with law, and protect Veld or others.

When information may be disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers that support website hosting, email, security, and business operations; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect rights, safety, and security; or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information obtained through the corporate website, and we do not use it for third-party targeted advertising.

Email and consulting inquiries

Corporate email is handled through Google Workspace. An inquiry does not create a consulting relationship, a confidentiality obligation, or a duty to provide services. If a conversation advances, data handling and confidentiality requirements should be addressed in the applicable written agreement before confidential, personal, regulated, or production information is shared.

Retention

We retain inquiry and business correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the potential or actual business relationship, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention can vary with the context. We may delete information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to legal, security, backup, and recordkeeping constraints.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you have provided through a corporate inquiry. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

Security

We use administrative and technical measures intended to protect information appropriate to its nature. No website, email system, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not use ordinary email for secrets or highly sensitive information.

Children

The corporate website and consulting services are intended for business and general adult audiences and are not directed to children under 13. Do not submit information about a child through a general company inquiry.

International processing

Our providers may process information in the United States and other locations. Privacy protections may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Third-party links

The site may link to external services, app stores, or product pages. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes

We may update this policy as our website, products, services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
